An update from the adventurers.....

Finlay says..." It's the holidays! On our last day of school we had a class party. I was given lots of gifts: a Luo blanket, a kenyan bracelet and a wooden keyring and a rhino. Our class went to a go carting place and we biked there. It had real traffic lights. "

Jesse says..." We saw the Minions movie today. It cost half the price it would have in NZ. I got to eat popcorn, a hot dog and had a Stoney (soda drink). My favourite part of the movie was when they were searching for the most despicable boss... no I liked the whole thing."

Emily says..." Hi!" and blows kisses to complete strangers all the time and is learning many words while here. This morning she parroted the alphabet with her brothers.

Connie says..."Yah! No more 6 am starts :) We have several things to look forward to in the next couple of weeks including a trip to rural Kenya meeting up with a Pastor and his family John met 7 years ago. Also we fly to Rwanda on the 11th to meet up with Ashiraf, the boy we sponsor through World Vision. "

John says..."Hi all, I am on the home stretch of finishing my two assignments getting back into study has been great, but a challenge too! Am having lots of meetings with people, and managed a trip back to Kibera, to visit with a Pastor there, who leads a church and a school with 300 children. Nairobi Chapel staff meeting today, which is quite the event with 100 on staff."
